The Trifecta

There are three individuals that just the sound of their voice will send Ben into a tizzy.

I like to call them The Trifecta.

#1 Billy Bush - Ben doesn't have to put up with this guys shenanigans all too often anymore.  He's on the way out, in terms of entertainment news and red carpets, and Mario Lopez is on his way in.  (I actually wouldn't be surprised if Mario Lopez takes Billy Bush's place in the trifecta in a few years.)  So what about Billy Bush drives Ben bonkers?  Maybe it's the alliteration of his name but I think it has more to do with the pure cheese that streams out of his every pore.

When asked why, Ben said, "just look at him."
(It doesn't help that BB is related to GW Bush either, I'm sure.)

#2 Matthew Morrison aka Will Schuester - I've been... or I should say... was a big fan of Glee last year.  I first started to notice Ben's distaste for Will Schuester early last year as Glee was wrapping up it's first season.  Any time Schuester was on the screen Ben would scoff.  Schuester has a tendency to 'ham it up' for the screen and is often (I think) over acting.  Matthew Morrison got his big break on the stage, and personally I think he should have stayed there.  His reactions on screen I feel are more appropriate or more measured for a stage performance.  Ben says Schuester reminds him of every theater geek he used to act with in high school.

"The winking, rapping, and smug smile are too much for me."

#3 Guy Fiere - Every once and a while I'll turn on the Food Network and Guy Fiere's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives will be on.  Fiere's full throttle enthusiasm for the mundanee and kitchy is just too much for Ben.  Ben said, "he's so tacky, he's like the antonym of me... I could never be friends with him."

Oh yeah, and he usually wears his glasses on the back of his head.

Frankly, I can't write anything that will describe Guy Fiere's obnoxious behavior well enough but Bobby Moynihan's parody on SNL is perfect.

National Chocolate Cake Day!

William and I couldn't let a day like "National Chocolate Cake Day" go by without celebrating!  Last Thursday we made a batch of chocolate cupcakes, it was just as much fun making the cupcakes as it was eating them! HA!
