Ben and I went to Portland last weekend with my family for a wedding. While we were there we got to visit with my sister and her family. On Friday we went swimming with Lydia, Micah, and John and later that night we got to have "Sheridan's." Lydia's favorite ice cream (actually frozen custard) place! Lydia highly recommends the "Duh-rt an Wuh-rms" so that's what I ordered! It was fabulous! While we were there we got to see Lydia's "Princess Dorothy" dress. She's planning to be Dorothy for Halloween and her Grandma Ruth made her a beautiful Dorothy dress. I took some pictures of the kiddo's, here are some of my favorites.Micah, Dorothy's Lion.A few more of Micah to show off his handsome red hair!!

Fall is here! Halloween is right around the corner! Must mean it's time for our annual trip to Remlinger Farm! This was our third year going out to the farm! Even though it rained we all agreed it was better than any other year. There were no lines we practically had the park to ourselves! Natalie and William joined Ben and me, we met up with Tom, Shannon, and Andrew, Bree, John, Lydia, and Micah, Carrie and Colin, and of course Nona. Few! It was a big group but we had a blast!

Quick Recap

It's been a long time since our last update, sorry to all you faithful "blog checkers!" September and October have turned out to be busy months!

Ben went camping with a friend towards the end of August. They drove all the way out to a small town in eastern Washington called Starbuck. Go figure there would be a town in Washington called Starbuck!

Ben started his third quarter at the University of Washington. We just received an email that he has to declare a major before he can register for next quarter! Must mean we're on the home stretch. We'll let you all know what he settles on in the coming weeks.

We celebrated our 2nd Anniversary on September 16th!

Ben went to his first professional football game thanks to Tom and Andrew!

Natalie (the little girl I nanny for) started Kindergarten this fall! It has been a learning experience for all, navigating the ropes of drop offs, picks ups, half days, field trips, to pack lunch or to not pack lunch... etc. She really seems to like school! Except for recess is far too short and her teacher tells her she needs to sit down ALL the time!

Lastly, Ben celebrated his 26th Birthday in September! For his birthday he got tickets to see Neil Yong in concert. He is enjoying the show tonight! Happy Birthday Ben!
