I have always been a big fan of Conan O'Brien. I remember watching his very first episode of Late Night with Conan O'Brien, I remember seeing Radiohead as his first musical guest. In the summer of '99 I went on a trip to New York City with some friends. After being subjected to two tapings of the Sally Jesse Rafael Show (it's a long story, needless to say it was the most boring two hours of my life) I was walking around downtown and bumped into Conan O'Brien. After a brief conversation I asked for an autograph, I realized then the only piece of paper I had for him to sign was a head shot of Ms. Rafael. (All audience members received an 8x10 head shot after the taping.) I explained that this was all I had, he thought it was funny and proceeded to sign. One of my most prized possessions is now my 8x10 of Sally Jesse with Conan's remarks:
"Dear Ben,
Sally sucks.
-Conan O'Brien"
Dear NBC,
Keep Conan at 11:30!

Ha ha! I love this story!
well said. And love the pic. NBC's crazy. Who's this Jay Leno guy, anyway?
Old Ben would have a story like that! We've never really watched Conan here in the McDougall house... we're old & he's on too late. :) Ha! But I will agree with the remark: "Who's this Jay Leno guy anyway?"
